cartime is a prestige, independent used car supermarket that was founded in 2012 and was awarded as the UK Car Supermarket of the Year for two years running. With showrooms in Bury, Rochdale and Burnley in Greater Manchester, all of our cars are prepared to standard based on the car's age and mileage, alongside other great benefits such as 0% finance and our fantastic lifetime warranty package available across all stock.
We have over 1,000 vehicles available, from MPVs, 4x4s and supercars to family saloons, cars for first time buyers and high performance sports models. Open seven days a week, we are conveniently located close to Manchester City Centre and the M60 ring road.

As well as our original cartime used car sales centre on Bell Lane in Bury, we have a specialist used 4 x 4 centre in Bury, which is the largest in Greater Manchester, a state-of-the-art used car dealership in Rochdale and our new showroom in Nelson, Burnley, which opened its doors in February 2025. All of our stock is also listed on our website with comprehensive photography and videos showing vehicles in close detail.
The business is owned and run by Matt Kay whose vision is to build cartime into one of the largest car supermarkets in the country in the next two years. Continued success has led to year-on-year growth and we now stock more than 1000 used vehicles across our four sites. Expansion into new areas is also planned for the future.

Our founding principals, which remain today, have always been to provide customers with a new way to buy a used car, offering carefully prepared prestige used vehicles and an industry-leading warranty package.
Matt personally oversees that we stock the right vehicles at the right prices, taking colour, mileage and specification into careful consideration. We also use the latest price check technology and a have a highly experienced team to ensure customers receive the best experience possible.
